Jesup, Ga.

Shirley Y. Brannen, 77 of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, March 06, 2013 in Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Wayne County, Ga. native was a member of Jesup First United Methodist Church, a retired Rayonier employee, a Shrine Ladies Auxiliary member and chairperson and volunteer with the American Red Cross. She loved to travel, bake and spend time with the grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard D. Brannen; her parents, Alvin Lester and Mozena Yeomans; siblings, Warner Yeomans, Jean Jones and Maxie Yeomans.

Survivors are 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra Elizabeth Fulton of Jesup, Ga., Julie Fulton of Glennville, Ga., Deidra and Charlie Lyons of Jesup, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Missy Fulton of Jesup, Ga.; 6 grandchildren, Derek Williams, Amanda and Casey Leggett, Jenny Fulton, Cal Lyons, Chelsea Lyons and Chloe Lyons, all of Jesup, Ga.; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Tess Leggett, Eli Harold Leggett, Elissa Rae Leggett, Eliot Brik Leggett and Adeline Grace Williams; a sister, Frankie Y. Bailey of Jesup, Ga. ; a brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Jo Yeomans of Jesup, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 11 A.M. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. prior to services at the funeral home.
